Every year, it offers apprenticeships and internships to young people from the Basel region, supporting them in their transition into the job market.

Within the jobfactory Group, the Job Training Foundation is responsible for work-related instruction and socio-educational support . The foundation's work areas include:

  • candles
  • textile printing
  • Sew
  • Furniture assembly
  • Packaging

In these areas, a diverse range of in-house products is manufactured and various services are offered.

Job offer: Social worker (m/f/d)

Workload: 80–100%
Start: Immediately
Duration: Initially limited until summer 2025 with option to extend

Your tasks

  • Individual guidance and support for adolescents and young adults
  • Caregiver work
  • Conducting location and funding discussions
  • Write journal entries and reports for the assigning departments
  • Collaboration in the work areas of the Job Training Foundation (candles, textile printing, sewing, furniture assembly, packaging)
  • Support for the educational offerings of the Job Training Foundation
  • Contact person and coordination with authorities, offices and employers

You bring

  • Completed training as a social worker HF/FH
  • Professional experience in supporting and mediating adolescents and young adults with support needs
  • Knowledge of professional integration in the field of disability insurance
  • Resilience and teamwork
  • Organizational talent and initiative
  • Manual skills are an advantage
  • Experience in working with referring bodies

Further information

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
